In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Russian philosopher and political theorist Alexander Dugin said that negotiations with the West cannot be trusted...
Trusting the west is trusting demons because the west is run by demons. This means the war against Russia and her people is a spiritual/demonic war also against humanity quite similar to the «Lord of the Rings»; «One Ring to rule them all».
In the United States during the late 19th century, the philosophy of Pragmatism (William James, Charles Saunders Peirce, John Dewey) arose. It rejected the concept of an Objective Reality with its Timeless Truths. Instead of concerning oneself with the question of whether something is “True”, the pragmatist asks, “What difference will it make in my life whether I believe it or don’t believe it?” So one looks to the “utility” of believing it or not believing it. If it has a good result for me, it is “true”. If it has a bad result for me, it is not “true”. What is “true” for me may not be “true” for you, so an idea can be “true” for some and not “true” for others. Furthermore, what is “true” for me today may not be “true” for me tomorrow, so “truth” evolves.
They tossed the concept of Objective Truth – Objective Reality – Fixed Principles & Standards – out the window.
We heard over & over in the public schools, “There is no black or white, there is only gray.” “What’s true for me may not be true for you”. “If it works, it’s right.” “What does it mean to you?” And when one is facing a moral decision, one is asked, “How do you feel about it?” One’s “feelings” are set up as the criterion for making moral decisions! There is no appeal to objective standards of Right & Wrong. The idea that such standards exist was ripped out of the public schools by the Progressives.
Most Americans of today see their own “likes”, “dislikes”, & “feelings” as the only standard. We want to “feel good”. That our personal likes & dislikes are irrelevant when they conflict with objective Standards of Good & Bad, Right & Wrong, is unthinkable. Americans DENY that any such objective standards exist - they are meaningless terms.
Any world leader (or anybody else) would be a fool to trust anyone in the US government.
Zionists now control the US Congress and Executive Branch. They are vicious & deranged and will say & do anything to achieve their aims. There is a video of the White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt saying words to the effect that we (the US) kill negotiators who don't do as we wish. Here's Trump threatening negotiators: https://x.com/FoxNews/status/2068720063419445738
Jared Kushner & Steve Wycoff are Zionists real estate grifters with no moral standards or training or experience in diplomacy. It's an insult to send them to Iran as negotiators. But real estate is Trump's business and that's all he knows.
They and their ilk (e.g. Pete Hegseth) are not ashamed of what they do. They are proud of it, and they brag about it. They think it shows how powerful they are. They want to seem powerful.
Many have known this before Professor, primarily based on your previous arguments that emphasize cultural relativity. But we all get caught in some form of naive idealism every now and then, it’s only human after all. As you recently said however, we need to reinforce the uniqueness of all other non-western cultural spaces once more.
I the days of Gorbatshov and Regan, we had "trust but verify." a constructive approach towards adversaries. unfortunately the betrayal of " NATO not an inch to the east" eroded human relations to "mistrust without any verification." that's equally stupid I am sorry to say. it's understandable when indeed "the West" lives on betrayal. but that doesn't make the east composed of purely good people. we, including myself, are most of the time mislead and there's of the time are misleading.
Beyond the daily political headlines, a fundamental question arises: Is Iran effectively ruled by "Islam" — or is there something else operating beneath the surface?
The Sufi Orders: What role do the nearly two million members of Sufi orders play today? Officially oppressed, they form an invisible network that has historically held immense, hidden power in the region (as seen in Turkey).
The "Spiritual" Axis: The connections between the Dönme (Sabbatians) and the Bektashi Order are deeply rooted. As the Bektashi Order currently prepares to establish its own sovereign state in Albania, it is worth examining their methods.
Tactics of Mimicry: Considering the history and "tactics" of Sabbatian sects, a bold question emerges: Could Ayatollah Khomeini — much like Atatürk — have ultimately been a master of religious disguise (a crypto-identity)?

Dr. Dugin is correct. The West, especially America, are not to be trusted. They will lie and cheat if that is what it takes to win.

Maybe, we shouldn't call it the West anymore, as the West does not represent its people?
Please let me share something important with you.
The West should never be trusted. Did n't the history in the last 120 years show this?
Who actually rules Iran?
