What’s interesting here isn’t the Epstein reference per se — it’s the model form: Dugin is explicitly replacing a hierarchical “pyramid” view of power with a gravitational/convergence view, where elite trajectories across sectors supposedly collapse toward a hidden “nucleus.” 
But the argument overreaches in a way that weakens its explanatory power: it treats “the nucleus” as an all-purpose cause (everything leads to the island), which makes the model hard to falsify and too indifferent to institutional variation (how finance, intelligence, media, academia, and party politics actually recruit, discipline, and reproduce elites). If you want the gravitational metaphor to hold, you need a mechanism: what are the specific gateways, incentives, and enforcement tools that create convergence — hiring pipelines, credential monopolies, regulatory capture channels, patronage networks, kompromat/blackmail vulnerabilities — and where does the evidence differentiate “network effects” from totalizing metaphysics?
The strongest version of this critique of the West isn’t “Epstein IS the West,” but: elite ecosystems become governable when reputational risk is privately managed and accountability is institutionally diluted. That’s an institutional story (how control travels), not a single-center cosmology (what control “really is”).
Of course it's true. Epstein is a big stain on the Western empire. But how did Navalny die ? Even if he was a CIA agent, why had it to be like that? In other words: "don't trust anybody". Fake is always around the corner.
Is it indeed the core? Or is a just one head of a many headed hydra?
