Like Prof. Dugin I presently see no chance for Russia to deal with the new German government, and the same seems true of every other nation in Europe outside of Hungary and Slovakia. I know that Russia is open to engagement with Europe, Putin explicitly invited them to be part of a peace settlement for Ukraine. But Europe wants war.
Possibly Trump's actions will make them see reason, but at the moment Europe seems to be living in a delusion of its own grandeur.
What a shame Molotov isn't around to warn about seeing the German far-right as trustworthy partners for Russia.
