As a young black man here in South Africa in the 80s I remember many South Africans of European lineage leaving South Africa to settle in the US, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.. It was sad to see them leave and it made one feel left behind to face uncertainty even as a black person..
Today I'd never want to swop places with anyone of them in spite of the corruption and the incompetence on the part of my government..
