Catholics settled in the Southwestern US with feudalist governing and the Protestants arrived in Plymouth with a socialist philosophy.

Hmm, interesting, I deal with both worlds. I cannot agree altogether, but I do appreciate the beautiful elevation of humanity which derives from Jeffersonian Farmer/Merchant economic theory.

I have been places where it is catholic and feudal in USA.

Thank you for your comment.

Pax Americana begins.

"Western identity" is an umbrella term. Inside the West there are many identities. They will compete. The powerful will be afraid to loose their riches. Fear is a powerful motivator.

A lot more instability needs to happen before meaningful changes can take place in the West. It is unfortunate.

Also, it was easier, globally, to criticize US hegemony in a unipolar world. In a multipolar world, authoritarian leaders will feel emboldened to emerge and seize power in the periphery (Africa is a good example). Populations and ordinary people will suffer. Big powers will be invited, alliances created, proxy wars will become normalized.

It will be a tragedy. In the end a case of buyers remorse? Everyone assumes that the day after will be like the day before, but if the locus of power has shifted, violence will become a viable strategy. The United Nations will become useless.

So your saying without American authoritarianism, and the chaos they deliberately use to keep control, Africa will become chaotic and authoritarian leaders will emerge?

Different cultures have different histories and people's with different mindsets. Yes a few Western countries cause a lot of havoc around the world. But in their absence or receding reach, other local players might take advantage. Most countries in Africa, for instance, don't have long histories of Western style politics. If you look at African dictators, past and present, not many of them are "generals". It would be a mistake to assume that in a multipolar world where might is right we don't see a reprisal of warlords in certain geographic areas. And it need not be limited to Africa.

I am an American Hillbilly. Every able man in my family has served as soldiers in war and peace for more than 300yrs here. I've also been Orthodox Christian 20+yrs, thank God. We Hillbillies are the warrior subculture of America. Everything that the world sees about America as positive: fierce fighters, pioneers, fronteirsmen, even cowboys, are all Hillbilly character traits descended from Scotts and Irish who first settled in and just beyond the Appalachian mountains.

We're seeing two major historic trends today among us Hillbillies today.

1.) We've stopped sending our sons to do their service in the US Military. Just look at how recruiting goals are missed year after year. Veterans and fathers are counseling Hillbilly young men NOT to serve. This has never happened before. Even during the Civil War, Hillbillies were eager to volunteer for either side. Serving in the military used to be seen as the final making of a man and full citizen. All the physically, psychologically, and spiritually maimed vets from the Global War on Terror ended that.

2 ) Hillbillies are flooding into Orthodox Christian Churches. It's truly miraculous seeing new faces almost every week, and then seeing them return again and again.

There is a deep spiritual change coming over America's Warrior Subculture. It's been affected by "revivals" in the past... but Orthodox Christianity was never available to them. It's starting to be. It's almost as if our nets are bursting with new souls becoming baptized Orthodox Christians.

Everywhere Orthodox Christianity has gone as a missionary movement, it becomes the dominant expression of faith. Unlike the "Revivals", Orthodox Christianity isn't going away like the tents of an outdoor "revival" meeting.

We're truly blessed and humbled to be in the Church to witness this mass miracle taking place. Even as married Orthodox Christian hermits in a remote part of the Ozarks, we're seeing Hillbillies becoming cathecumens and then baptized. Many are driving 3-4 hrs round trip to attend Divine Liturgy.

"Pray without ceasing".

To be honest, I don't think things are going to change in the US under Trump, like jfk there is rules and conditions that has to be implied, step outside the boundaries consequence occur. Trump knows he took one to the 👂. In my opinion' I don't think Trump is wise enough to talk to Mr putin seriously.

I share the same sentiment. Even if the Trump administration stays for another term and keeps his promises…. To reform a complete system is likely to take 20-30 years. Look at Hungary and other former Sovjet countries.

Let’s see what happens. Americans want change. We don’t want war with Russia. MAGA does not think Zelensky is a hero, nor that he should get any more money from the US.

If Trump does that, that’s more than any leader in the EU or US has tried to do in the last 3 yrs.

IR=INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

1) "The trumpism in IR is reorganisation of Western hegemony on the basis of RIGHT LIBERALISM and Western identity."

Death of religion is at the root of dying America. Even a rudimentary study of the Bible shows Trump ain't a believer.

See reply comment, political epiphany. Also, a real pastor on 1) biblical voting considerations, 2) 3 steps to saving/healing the nation

So despite the Bible being very clear on Trump is not a godly man, the "Christians" overruled God, played God (ref #pithy1).

Political epiphany video animation explains that a gimme vote means no representation. This was posted to our sample "Christian" test group ~6 times prior to the months leading up to the election. Poor poor babies are just so used to being ripped off that they just do it wo any resistance or even a single rationale brain wave.

So w this background, let's look at the above excerpt #1.

RIGHT LIBERALISM: is just another flavor of the outgoing extreme liberalism! Root problem - death of religion 💯% leads to death of nation is still there unchanged by an election that most of the world billed as unexpectedly exceptional yet remains 💯% on the cards.

Hey playing God, rebelling against God "Christian" gimme voter. Slam bam thank you mam. Thx for ur vote, u get nothing in return yet again. sucker and let's see you at the same place, same vote in 4 years.

The postmortem of a vote that blasphemes the Lord. Don't even have to wait till inauguration to see the trajectory for those with atop the morality wisdom mountain ppl. Not so for the sucker classes.

Sorry, truth stings.

2) "India replaces China."

Ahhh! Color revolutions to the adjacent east and west bordering countries. See video of "Christian" NGO missionary handing out bullet proof vests to his converts aka bordering areas insurgents aka peaceful democratic protestors.

Bind them economically while simulated stabilizing to prevent the economic jail break that China did springboarding into the world's top trading nation by a country mile.

No India, you can't enter the elite nations club.

The core problem of the world is Political Zionism, expressed so viciously through the State of Israel, which should be neutralised and transformed into an international sovereign zone, fully protected under international law, as the sacred birthplace of Jesus Christ and prayer temple of historical monotheism. Until Jews, Christians and Muslims love one another, on an equal level, as true brothers and sisters, there is no hope for any lasting peace, nor stable world order.

Is it only that? I have lived in the Wilderness and operated with reciprocity. It was wonderful, holy, and divine. Maybe in a zero sum godless mindset things are merely eat or be eaten. But I think you are being excessively severe, reductionist and nihistic.

How does that help?

Keep in ming that Trump may have won by 86 electoral college votes but only % 1.75 popular votes.

Most American elections are like that. We have a permanently frustrated revolution going on all the time.

The Electoral Collaege is a good idea IMO. It compensates for the urban/rural population differences and the that most cities are solid Democrat whereas urural aras will more mixed even if mostly Republican.

There is also little difference between the parties. we vote ovber social issues which should have no place in our limited gov't while major issues, like wars, rarely come up. Every candidate wants peace. Whether its the peace of teh grave or not, we just have to wait and see.

You see Trump backing off on his promises already.

Lawyers and businesemen can be adept at getting elected but none seem to know much about governance.

f you told them that Ukraine is a central power and must either dominate its neighbors or reman neutral, they might think yu wer emaking things up.

Elon and the Swami care nothing about assimilation : only about money.

Sako Vkt's avatar

What excatly you mean "developed" IDK-Russia has had an economy for a lot longer the U.S. has existed and it has a radically different history so these standards everyone likes to use IMO are obsolete at this point anyway especially given that a lot of U.S. "economy" is financiering with essentially counterfiet money.

I think you need to look at a lot more than that to understand it.

Russia comprises 6,601,670 sq mi but only 146,150,789 people.

US? 3,809,525 square miles and 340,110,988 people IOW Russia has twice the area but half the people-major difference in everything as we understand it.

Mr. Putin's graduate paper concerned transitioning to a resource economy rather than compete industrially except in certain areas which is smart IMO because manufacture is no secret anymore, as it once was, and there is only so much any industry can be optomized.

U.S. is living in Horatio Alger nostalgia. Soon enough, Artifificial Intelligence will take over writing code as well as automated assembly lines. It can probaly handle middle management better than humans since management techniques are well known.

The future is in resources and technical devlopmnet in which Russia's state corporations have excelled at keeping up with battle field needs and managing wartime economy.

Huge stockpiles like the U.S. maitains are just planned obsolescence. Keeping up techincally with a small cadre and surge production planning is by far the better way to go, and then shut it all down when done. An army rots in peace.

I'm sure there are poblems. But I think our Amrican economy is in a lot more trouble, by simply thinking in the past.

I wish decolonization was not mostly a cover word for destroying the West.

I don't want an artificial economy, nor an imperial USA. Both are happening.

I am mixed blooded, but am of bloodlines in this America, older than the US government's existence. I love this Land.

The current war against the West is perpetrated partly by those in charge of the West. There are CCP communist infiltrators, ~2.4 million, including 200,000 military insurgents.

War

War

War

I want the wars to end.

I have been against all of their wars since I was removed from my security clearance in 2003. I even wrote paper which aided the argument to fight in Iraq. Truth does not matter.

I have earned a living for 46 years, unlike many people, either on the dole, easy living bureaucrats, and the criminals.

That should explain the reason why Trump/Musk are going to try anything, even invasion, in order to grub Greenland !
